From May 15 to 17, Frankfurt hosts Germany’s most important fair in the MICE world: IMEX, The worldwide exhibition for incentive travel.
The quality and professional approach to this incentive and event tourism fair have made it one of the leading attractions worldwide. In fact, its numbers have been growing edition after edition, until reaching 14,826 participants last year.
Prestige-certifying figures
Just one look at IMEX’s figures is enough to realize the enormous influence that this show has in the world of business tourism. More than 3,500 exhibitors participated in its 2017 edition, representing over 150 countries and taking part in more than 68,500 interviews.
Less than two weeks before the opening of this year’s event, all indications are that these figures will be exceeded.

Hall 9 for innovation, learning and live experience

IMEX will locate an Inspiration Hub-equipped Learning Zone in Pavilion 9, where more than 250 educational sessions will take place. In addition, we will get to know and try new experimental ideas in the Live Zone, which will bring together a variety of innovative concepts and products. Perhaps, one of the most spectacular experiences will be C2 International’s proposal: being able to participate in the SkyLab, a suspended-in-the-air meeting.
EduMonday: a day dedicated to education
On May 14, EduMonday returns. One of IMEX’s best-received initiatives last year was the launch of a day dedicated to innovative learning. In addition, this year’s standouts include the Agency Directors’ Forum, Rising Talent – an afternoon of learning and professional development for under 35-year-olds – or the sessions that will cover different aspects of the ‘Legacy‘, IMEX 2018’s leitmotif.
